We serve people who love nature by way of boat tours into one of the last paradise spots in the world. Tours follow the old historic routes of the 1st Nation’s People and early Canadian explorers and pioneers.

We have planned the trip details to give the most experience without the long treks and portaging of gear. Everyone’s health and safety is taken into consideration and respected. You travel with comfort in crafts that are suitable to the need. The boats are suited for shallow waters of the Peace, Athabasca, and Delta areas, and allows for best nature viewing experiences. While on the land you will have relaxing times to view the unique flora and fauna of this spot! Fishing is also possible from the sand banks of the rivers. If you like to relax in camp, you can enjoy the warmth and smell of an evening wood campfire. The days are long with bright sunshine to energize you and short nights for quiet rest.

The bush camps are cabins or three man tents for two people, with all good equipment to meet your needs. All guides are trained and experienced to serve your needs. They have experience in and can explain the local ecosystem for you.

We rediscover the largest park in Canada, and the second largest in the world, with you. Being 50,000 square kilometers, it is larger than Switzerland. The Wood Buffalo National Park has designation from the United Nations as a special UNESCO site being set aside for the entire world to experience. World known photographers have explained Wood Buffalo National Park as “the Serengeti of the North”. The experience for you will be the same as those who experienced the old wilds of the west in early centuries. The experience of driving through the largest fresh water delta in the world comes true as the two rivers, the Peace and Athabasca come together to create the biggest 10,000 sq. km. labyrinth in the world.

For nature lovers and bird friends, it is possible to view over two hundred and fifty species in their natural habitat. Such areas as islands, channels and sand banks, lend themselves to the endangered whooping crane and the most northern nesting white pelican colony in the world. This is the only colony that nests on islands in the rapids of the river. It is possible to see bison, wolves and bears at any time.

While Traveling on Lake Claire you will go to the Sweet Grass Prairie where the last free roaming bison of North America have always found home. With luck you may experience the interaction of wolves and buffalo at Sweet Grass.

In the north of Wood Buffalo National Park you can experience the largest Karstland in North America. The under ground rivers, sink holes and lakes are unique to the world.

The Wood Buffalo National Park was established in 1922 for the purpose of preserving the last of North America’s bison and has since been recognized as the home of the last natural flock of Whooping Cranes. Today there are healthy herds of 6000 buffalo in and around the park and 215 plus Whooping Cranes. The Wood Buffalo National Park is one of the most interesting Ecosystems in the world.
